What does your group define as a marathon?

A marathon, in our eyes, is an event in which we set aside a large chunk of time (usually more than 24 hours) to play video games from a pre-determined theme and stream the whole event live on the web. We usually have scheduled to play a pre-determined set of games but always have more on hand if time allows. We also host what we call "Minithons" which are blocks of time up to 24 hours in length where we will usually focus on a few games versus an entire series.

How did you get started?

Everyone in our group has always had a love of video games, but never really knew an outlet in which to use it to help people. However, after watching the group ExtraLives, we were very inspired to start our own marathoning group and trying to use our hobby to help people.

Are you a "PG" marathon group?

This is in interesting question. In the past the answer would have been no. As we have rebranded and have brought our focus to be more on the charity and having fun, but taking out a majority of the crude humor and insanse challanges has made us more so. In short, we are trying to focus on being more PG now and our after dark segments will be more PG-13.

Are you open for interviews or teaming up with other groups?

We are always open for both, of course dependent on scheduling for us. If you would like to interview us on our marathons, or try to team up with us on a marathon please contact us via the general e-mail listed below.

For our marathons, all proceeds go directly to the charity we are supporting. Rated M does not touch a single cent of anything that we bring in; 100% is donated. We are always open to reviewing ideas for different charity groups, so if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to contact us at the e-mail below.
